Ok so I looked over the poll results from the first poll. Chaptered took the trophy. But I actually think I'm going to do a standalone first, then a chaptered story. Just because I need to do something 'light', so to speak, before I dive into another chaptered. You know, a bit of fresh air.
Below you'll find 4 different standalone stories I'm working on. Read each little snippet and vote for which you would like to read most. :)

Characters: Gabe, William, Alex, Nate, Ryan, Brendon, Hayley, Pete, Travis, Vicky, Ryland
Pairings: The only 'actual pairing' is Nate/Alex. Other's that could be considered though are Gabe/William, Ryan/Brendon, and Pete/Patrick (past)

Summary: 18 year old William Beckett suddenly loses control and slaughters roughly 50 people in his school, without explanation. He's labeled as criminally insane and transfered to the Sunny Hill Mental Institution where he's evaluated by the head psychiatrist, Gabriel Saporta; one of two psychiatrists available. Gabe takes interest in William, believing there is so much more than what appears to the eye, and is interested to find out whatever he can. Overall, William is a calm boy; until something sets him off. One thing that sets him off is Ryan, a severely suicidal patient trapped there against his own will. Gabe is determined to figure out what made William snap and get him the appropriate help. But, some people just don't want to be helped.
Teaser: The wail of sirens screeched desperately through the air as cop cars sped frantically towards the local high school where a crowd of horrified people had already gathered. A series of ambulances followed to care for the shaken students traumatized and crying, standing limp in the arms of loved ones or on the concrete of the entrance path, a safe distance from the double doors. They couldn’t speak or think, only envision what they barely managed to escape.
Title: The Untouchables

Summary: Y'all know plenty about this by now, I'm sure. But I'll do a quick overview.
Gabe and Ryan are best friends without boundaries. They've always had run of their school, people bowing at their feet. Senior year, Gabe wants to go out with a memory. The plan? Sleep with the infamous 'untouchables'; Brendon Urie and William Beckett. The untouchables are step brothers raised in a Christian family who don't so much as flirt, let alone partake in any of the sins consuming Gabe and Ryan. Gabe and Ryan have until the end of the year to get into the untouchables' pants-- Gabe in William's, Ryan in Brendon's. Only, things don't go so smoothly. William, he's easy enough as far as Gabe's concerned. But Brendon? He wants nothing to do with Ryan; nor Ryan him. Things get even stickier when Spencer, Ryan's absolute enemy, finds out about Ryan's little 'task'; especially since he knows Brendon. Ryan, used to always getting what he wants, is stuck at a wall with Brendon who won't so much as look at him half the time, while Gabe and William can barely be kept apart.
This story is primarily a giant pile of porn :) It's incredibly long too (and a bit wordy...)
Teaser: “No fucking way,” Ryan hissed, standing with his arms crossed and body tense on the other side of the desk where Mr. Alden stood. “I am not fucking working with him!” One arm shot out to point at the boy beside him.
“I agree, sir,” Brendon said, frowning hard. “Though not so vulgarly.” Ryan sneered. “I don’t think Ryan can look pass his ego to work with anyone else and I’d much prefer to work alone and take a suffering grade than attempt to create anything worth presenting with him.” Ryan bit his lip hard enough to pierce it.

Pairings: Nate/Alex (past), Gabe/William

Summary: Nate is taken in by Gabe and William after Alex died in a terrible accident--one that Nate blames himself for. Gabe watches his friend slowly retreat further and further into himself, worried about what he'll do. For days Nate won't eat or talk; he won't leave the basement room he'd been given. As time goes on, things start to go back to normal. But, they take a turn for the worse when Nate suddenly starts getting very ill; for reasons no doctor can explain. What everyone passes off as hallucinations from the increasing fever, Nate claims to be seeing Alex everywhere. When he becomes a threat to others, Gabe's got no other choice but to put him in mental hospital in hopes that he'll get the help he needs.
Teaser: It had happened on a Thursday, which made it strange at best. There were no dark omens or warning signs of tragedy on that Thursday morning; the sun was shining, the air was warm but not too dry, and birds lulled the land peacefully with their light and cheery melodies. The sky was a crystal blue with a few puffy white clouds and the flowers bright and luscious along the sidewalks.

Summary: Everyone knows Pete is crazy. He always comes up with half-assed ideas, but never really make it past his head. That is, until he comes up with his little 'game'. Based on the game 'clue', Pete gathers a good majority of the FBR family in a large abandoned mansion he rented for the weekend of Halloween. Everyone is given a role, and whoever can find the 'killer' at the end wins a better tour bus--something they all want (and need). Things start out pretty smoothly, but they quickly get troubling as people start actually dying. Trapped in the house with a real killer, the game gets frighteningly real and people are dropping quicker than flies.
