Yeah, Heathers is great but never really got the recognition it deserves. I discovered it in a video rental store in NZ in 91 after having read a positive review and 16-year-old me was quite stunned. That was back when Winona Ryder was still everybody's indie darling and not the goddess of shoplifters...

So, a sequel/remake/reboot? I don't know. Actually, a proper remake - taking it to the 21st century - might work, but I can't imagine a sequel in an office setting. Well, we'll see.

Did you read the article or did my spoiler warning deter you? They are not talking remake, but an actual sequel with Winona Ryder and Christian Slater. In any case, it sounds interesting, if it's true.

Err, I glanced at the article and I found it slightly confusing... I can't quite make out how much of it is speculation and how much is actual fact - I get that Slater and Ryder are supposedly back, but apart from that, anything could happen in the story. The office setting was spec on my part inspired by one of the comments.
