On the first anniversary of the Final Battle, Harry James Potter was about to give the biggest speech of his life. He had worked tireless hours with Ginny preparing for the moment. When it finally came, Harry took a deep breath, walked onto the stage and… a deep croak came out.
‘Ribbit.’ he said. ‘Ribbit ribbit’. The crowd was stunned.
‘His eyes are as green as a fresh-pickled toad…’ a chorus sang, seemingly from nowhere.
Everyone was silent.
‘It’s not funny!’ Ginny exploded at her brothers later in the evening.
‘You have to admit, Gin, it was kinda,’ Harry grinned.
