Dear Yuletide Fairy (that's right, no Santa, no Goat this year!)
I can not believe that my 6th Yuletide has rolled around already! It makes me feel old for some reason. And I was oddly under-prepared this year. BUT I'M STILL GOING TO HAVE AN AWESOME TIME. And I hope you do too!
Bronze Horseman (/Tatiana and Alexander Series)
I was too lazy to nominate this year, so I didn't get to nominate the series itself... this looks like just the first book. I don't know if you've read on (how could you not? It's so gripping) but I'm not sure I like the third book anyway **SPOILERS** I absolutely hated the fact that Alexander had an affair. It seems so wildly OOC for me that I'm still trying to get over it. Still, I love the idea of them growing old and having a family together and a family compound, etc. even hearing about their children/grandchildren. **< /Spoilers>** Simons was extremely detailed. In a way, there's almost nothing left to write about!
Anyway, the first book is my favorite, and I would love a glimpse of them just being tender with each other, or even Shura dreaming of Tatiana or helping her or something from when they were first married or really absolutely anything.

Chronicles of Chrestomanci - Diana Wynne Jones
An old favorite, and last year I did receive something, but I'm hooked and want more! I have always yearned for Mordecai/Flavian fic, but can never find it! I know that Mordecai and Miss Rosalie are supposed to be involved, but I think he and Flavian have 10x the chemistry. Go back and re-read The Lives of Christopher Chant and the subtext will bowl you over, I guarantee it!
If you want to write gen, that's fine too. But try to leave Miss Rosalie out of it? She's ok, but I really get enough of her from the canon.

Doctor Who RPF
I kinda really want Matt and Karen to be married involved IRL. I know that there are tons of people on board with this as an ot3 (Arthur) but I am not one of them. In fact, I find Rory in general kind of ehh (please don't hate me, I know the internet thinks he's badass...). A little bit of angst where Matt/Karen secretly pine for each other, or a story about having a whirlwind affair/fling where they have sex all over the set would be fine with me, but take it wherever! If you're just into gen, the two of them being dorky together would suffice. ♥

Fire and Hemlock
Polly/Thomas Lynn. I am very interested in what happens after the events of the book. I really want the two of them to find a way where things work out, even though it seems impossible. I have received excellent fic for this before, and it changed in a way my perceptions about the end. So something dark and haunting would be perfect, or something where everything somehow works out. I just want to see what you come up with!

General Notes: Have fun with this, please! I'm not in this to stress anybody out. Also, don't worry about length. I personally am an author that does best writing about 1200 words max. I'm always on the short side for fics, with essays and exams for school... if I make it too long it gets terrible. I understand that everyone is different, so no matter if you write me a 30,000 word epic or a sweet and succinct 1001 words, I will be grateful!
Miscellaneous Likes: I tend to like fics on the lighter side, but I also like me some angst (I'm mushy at heart so resolved angst is better but not a requirement). Slash is obviously fine with me, as is sexual content, but it is in no way expected. If you're into writing sexy stuff, I have a thing for fics where people lose their virginity (idk why).
Miscellaneous Dislikes: I don't tend to like dark fics. Please no suicide/killing or really, really dark stuff in ANY fic. Angst is good, but that's it for the dark stuff. Also non-con is a no-no.
