Hello dear Yulegoat!
Thank you so much for writing me a story! Below is more information about my choices for Yuletide!
1. She Wants Revenge - She Wants Revenge (self titled album)
I love how every song tells a story. I especially love '
Tear You Apart' because I feel like it comes in on the climax of a young love story, right before the two get together and describes perfectly all the butterflies one has at that moment. I would love to hear the story of these two, and I have always thought that the song
She Will Always Be A Broken Girl (on their second album, 'This Is Forever') could be the prequel (aka the girl's pov). I love them both to pieces and would love a story about either TYA or both. :)
2. Fire and Hemlock by Diana Wynne Jones
I've received some amazing fic for this in the past, but I'd love more! I really want to see what happens after the conclusion of the story. My romantic nature KNOWS that's not the end for Polly and Tom! I like things a little dark, but not too dark... more pining/brooding. Something that fits the tone of the book would be awesome. Also... what happens to Seb? I'd love to see some of him.
3. Charles Lenox series by Charles Finch
Honestly? I'd love to see some slash in this. Graham, Dallington, even Lenox himself. This is NOT a requirement, just a passing fancy I had. I am not a fan of Lady Jane mostly because I don't think the author does a great job fleshing her out as a character. We know Lenox adores her, but I'm not really sure why? I really do have a fondness for Lenox himself; he's just so endearing! I'd like to see him do just about anything. Also, bonus points for Toto.
4/ Chronicles of Chrestomanci by Diana Wynne Jones
Mordecai/Flavian. Please, please, please! Have had it before, need it again! :)
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!
P.S. If you want to learn more about me and my tastes you can visit
my personal LJ (this is my fic journal). My LJ itself is locked, but you can see some things on my profile. I would imagine that
my AO3 page is also pretty telling as to my preferences.
