I think that between all of the mouth stuff you have had done, and the weight loss, that you look amazingly different from the last time I saw you.

Do they expect the issues to go away with time?

The best answer seems to be "probably". It's not completely unusual for people who've had this kind of surgery to never really get all the feeling back. Particularly in the chin area. But, most of the time people do, particularly if their surgeon rocks as hard as mine did. It can sometimes take months or even a year.

Have you noticed any reduction /change in the original jaw pain that was the motivation for starting this whole process?

That's a great question which I can't believe it never occurred to me to even speak to.

Short answer is: Yes; but with everything else going on it was sort of hard to notice.

Longer answer might show up in an upcoming This Week In My Mouth. :D
