So apparently my neighbors living room is right next to my bedroom. At 3am, when it's been going on for hours, what do you do when their tv is ridiculously loud for this time of fucking morning? Do I complain at the office? Do I go over there? Is it different at every apartment? I have to be up at fucking 6am for class. I don't know if they're ( Read more... )

I would go knock on there door and ask them to turn it down. If that doesn't work or isn't possible I would complain to the office about it.

I am one of those bass-liking neighbours. We have some Jamaican guy and an old man with a dog next door, so I don't want to disturb them - mostly because I don't want Jah to smite me, and dogs bite. I turn the bass all the way down if it's gone about 11pm...

...But I've found that my bass can be more or less destroyed by playing some white or pink noise. Not too loud, not too distracting, bass is gone.

i dont know about where you live but in california once it hits past 12am you HAVE to turn your music/bass/tvs whatever down so it doesn't disturb anyone else.
id bang on the wall and if that doesnt help you could always leave a note explaining that your bedroom is right next to their living room and you have to be up early for class/work and would appreciate it if they kept the noise level down.
and then if that doesn't work then complain to the office. make a copy of the note though so you can show it to the office.

My neighbors did the same thing both days this weekend. I suggest the following: Either knock on the door and ask them to turn it down at the time or do it sometime this week at an hour that you feel safer and more comfortable. If they do it again, then you can call the cops. If it continues, then you can file a complaint with the office and call the cops.

Don't kill them! When you have had enough get a 1/2" drill bit and drill a hole into the bathroom area of their apartment then inject tear gas into it so you can laugh you ass off when you start hearing them cough and better yet you can see them crying as well.

Oh I wish I could do just that with my upstairs neighwhores, oops meant neighbors!
