So I watched the "modern" Sherlock Holmes, made by the guy who is currently in charge of Doctor Who, on BBC yesterday evening. And was mostly amused and entertained. Well done! Although I thought about watching some of the next games in the pub, the next Germany match I certainly won't watch in the pub. It would be decidedly unhealthy. Ballet is beautiful
Went to see Swan Lake last weekend and my, was it pretty. Couldn't unglue my eyes from the stage and what happened on it was simply amazing. And beautiful. Did I mention the pretty? I watched No Distance Left to Run last night, a documentary about Blur. Strongly recommended for anyone with an interest in the band, I really liked it for many reasons. Apart from the flashbacks to my year in Leeds I get everytime I hear the opening bars of "Parklife", it was a good reminder of how much I like their music (must dig out those CDs) ( Read more... ) -
