This post is mostly just for myself. I sort of would like to keep track of the movies I've watched over winter break, and I guess remind myself what they were about. The movies aren't listed in any particular order (as I can't remember the order I watched them in).

Awww, I'm sorry to hear that you didn't like Chungking Express so much. Here's what Wiki has to say on the title: "The Chinese title translates to "Chungking Jungle", referring to the metaphoric concrete jungle of the city, as well as to Chungking Mansions in Tsim Sha Tsui, where much of the first part of the movie is set. The English title refers to Chungking Mansions and the Midnight Express food stall where Faye works." I dunno what they're referring to, I haven't seen it yet...
And I actually liked Paranormal Activity. It was kind of funny and the two main characters were realistic to me (though Micah's attitude towards Katie's fears were really annoying, but there'd be no movie without bad motives). I squeaked every time the door moved. That creak just made me want to laugh madly. Creepy and funny. The ending was VERY bad, I admit.

As for Chungking Express, I actually went into the movie thinking it would be a lot different. Which is perhaps why it didn't exactly meet my expectations. I do think you should see it though, if only because it's so frickin' weird! I mean, there just aren't words to explain the odd crap that goes on in the movie!
The best line from the movie is, "Where's your strength and absorbency?" You'll agree once you see!

And yes, Hero was amazing!
I didn't know that you watched "Too Tired To Die" though! I saw that a couple of years ago and I didn't like it that much either. I was just kind of bored, but I was amused that he died 12 hrs later because Death told him that he was going to die. I thought that was pretty good, but the rest of it...I was like, "WTF is going on here?"
