I feel like it's been ages since I was in Brisbane, but amazingly it's only been about 2 months! Time seems to just fly by when you're busy having fun, I guess. I've packed in so much of this country in the period of a month that I feel incredibly lucky to have seen as much as I have. Those pictures are absolutely phenomenally gorgeous--I can only imagine how much more absolute and phenomenal and gorgeous they are when you're standing in the midst of them! I'm so glad you've had a chance to see and experience all these amazing things; it's so crazy to think that there's so much out there, especially when you realize that crap, the world is huge. Obvious statement is obvious, but you can say there are huge red rocks in the world and everyone will believe you. But it's an entirely different thing to acknowledge the existence of huge red rocks in the world--both literal and metaphorical--and really know what that's like, and what it means. Thank you for sharing this piece of your journey! I'm definitely looking forward to hearing about your future adventures. I'd say after the semester, but there's all those weekends, too, right? :DD
