Whew! The weather here's been pretty bad for the past few days. I can see why they call Cincinnati the 'Windy City'.

Candy hearts have been surprisingly hard to find this year, for some reason.

So, things have been going along, more or less. The car hasn't been much trouble. Classes are going okay. I'm getting excited about Brawl!

I'm worried that my Wii is flaking out on me, though. It's starting to have trouble reading some of the discs.

So, something's wrong with my windshield wiper. It's come loose and flaps around a bit every time I use it. Plus, my driver-side door has a tendency to freeze shut. It's annoying, but not quite frustrating enough to take it in to the shop and pay to have it fixed.

Also, saw the dentist this afternoon. Need to start flossing.

One of my (admittedly belated) New Year's resolutions is to post on this thing more. Say, at least once a week.

Anyway, classes started today. Looks like I should be able to make it through this quarter. Hooray!

Just finished watching Hogfather on TV. It was pretty good! They took out the Librarian, which made one or two other bits not make much sense, and some of my favorite lines went missing, but still. It's a pretty faithful adaptation!

So, I went and got my car back this afternoon. Turns out it was the battery! Cost $140 to get it fixed. Bleh.

So I think there might be something wrong with my car battery. I went out to Kroger this afternoon to pick up some food, and when I got back, it wouldn't start. I tried jumping it a couple times, but didn't get anywhere, and ended up calling AAA. Just before the tow truck got there, I tried starting it again, and this time it worked. It's somehow reassuring to see that Doctor Who's special effects are just as shoddy now as they were in the original series.
