So I let my brainspace-membership to Homestuck lapse, in about April 2010. I missed a couple of weeks and it seemed like a huge amount of work to get back in--it's the only webcomic I ever quit reading because it was too good.

Thanks for reminding me of just how long Act 5 ended up being. And yes, it is pretty amazing how complex a story you get out of what is, on the surface, a parody of a cross between Earthbound and The Sims.

Despite the (literal) 4th wall and general zaniness, Homestuck wrangled actual tears out of me. Still haven't figured it out.

Yeah, I didn't really have time to get through Homestuck- too much else to do, but I hear it is amazing.
