And because these "today is the day" pictures on the internet tend to be off by days, months or years (think "Back to the Future"), here's the fact check: In the USA, MIAW is in the first full week in October http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mental_Illness_Awareness_Week as started by NAMI: http://www.nami.org/template.cfm?section=mental_illness_awareness_week Australia and New Zealand are at the same time, Canada one week earlier. In the UK, where the full name fits, it is one week in May http://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/our-work/mentalhealthawarenessweek/ (and I suppose this pic is circulating since then). As the pic I shared was (re?)posted today, I'll assume it's Mental Health Awareness Week on Facebook only. ;-)
