I took Monsa to the vet today to take a look at some lumps she has on her belly. Turns out there's a 90% chance they're cancerous so she has to go in next week for an operation to have them removed. I'll keep her in my prayers... I know this is the worst. All the best to her and you.

Thanks Silver =) She's my first pet ever (apart from like, goldfish) so this is a whole new experience for me. Owning and loving a pet sure has its cons as well as pros. ._.

Yes, it sure does. And, God forbid, so is losing a pet. But it never outweighs the joy of having one by your side. Like my grandpa used to say: if you put a pebble into your left pocket every time your pet makes you sad, and one into your right every time it makes you happy, you'd find only a handful of pebbles in your left pocket at the end of the day and your right pocket weighing down to your knees.

My cat had cancer in her shoulder a couple of years ago and had her left front leg removed, but she is fine. She doesn't act any differently now. I will hope and pray it will be the same with your kitty. *hugs*
