Most insurances will cover prescription prenatal vitamins, whereas they won't cover the OTC ones. Personally that's too many people handling my supplement for my taste.

I'm pretty paranoid about getting the wrong medication too. Thankfully I haven't had them screw any of mine up yet. A friend of mine has sleeping pills, and he noticed she went from sleeping 6 hours when she took them to 9 hours. Turns out they screwed up the dosage and gave one that were 3 times stronger.

Wow, how incredibly sad. It really makes me feel better when i try to avoid taking medicine or giving medicine to my kids as much as i can, i mean i'm not going to make them suffer horribly but i will not give them cough medicine when they've only coughed once. :)(esp after the doc AND pharmacist assured me a med i was taking was ok to bf, and only after realizing something didnt seem right with julian did i look it up and it had STRONG warning against bf and taking it!!) Now for me i try natural approaches to as much as i can. Esp after my gallbladder was taken out! I mean i'm not anti meds or anything but I try and not take them as much as i can :) i just think it's better for your body... Sheesh.. how sad though, esp to keep on taking them, believing that they are vitamins and good for you!! realy sad!!

I'm the same way. If I can avoid taking medication I do. We used Benadryl for the first time last week.

How are you doing? Are you back to normal now?

Yeah i avoid Benadryl at ALL costs, i can only take it at night, and then if i dont get like 9 hrs of sleep i feel like crap the next day. Ick

Yeah i'm back to normal, it went away after i turned my boob into pulp lol.. I keep making sure it's all clear so that doesnt happen again, i figure hand expressing a lil bit won't hurt right?!
