Hi everyone, this is Rich again. I have to correct one misperception that Oscillate got from me (and don't feel bad, others told me they thought the same thing). Lorie and I told the story about how we got together so many times to so many people, that I've just started talking in shorthand ( ... )

My husband and I were best friends for a long long time before we decided to take the next step. And actually, I was the one who got in the final word and asked him to marry me (after he had long since given up asking!) Isn't it wonderful to be married to your best friend?

And my 51st birthday was exactly one week after my husband "took off" for that far green country where Lorie is now. (Oh lord, the two of THEM together over there. I think the whole "peaceful, idyllic" thing just went out the window!) I had a birthday party with some dear supportive friends and relatives that year. He would NOT have wanted it otherwise. I am certain Lorie would feel the same, eh? Happy birthday Rich. Feel that hug? She still loves you, you know!
