Memories. . .

The funeral mass yesterday was lovely. It was far more a celebration of her life than anything else, which is what I was hoping for and I think it's along the lines of what she would have wanted. There were a couple of things I think she would have gotten a good laugh over as well, which is a good thing ( Read more... )

Oh, thank you so much for these memories. They are wonderful to read, so must be even more wonderful for you.

It makes me wish I worked in Chicago, and could have joined you three at Starbucks...

I'll always remember Lorie's smile.

I am missing her quite a bit today and getting to read about her here made the sense of loss a little less. And a great deal more. She was rather wonderful, wasn't she? I am so glad you got to have coffee with her as you did. That sounds like it was a really good routine. I hope that soon Rich will continue the tradition with you and that you have many mornings filled with talks about Lorie and that Rich and you share lots of laughter.

Thank you so much for such a lovely memory of Lorie and comments on the funeral mass. I would have loved to be there, but of course, it was all so sudden that I couldn't. I don't suppose you know when the memorial will be because I would like to attend that.
