Fragments of Small Happiness
Irene is back with her not-long-but-not-short essay this time~ (well might still be considered long, but if you compare this with my other posts, I'd say that this is short XDD)
It's a compilation the storm and rainbow of this week :3
So, it has been a really busy week:
- Weekly case study, where this week's is super hard and confusing
- Weekly quiz till mid Feb
- Matlab code
- Long class hours on Mon and Tues
Honestly, all the stress of the week is piled up on the first days of the week, like my Fridays will be super chill because none of the weekly assignment would've been posted till Sat and is due on Thurs the latest XD
Also, didn't expect SKULE to be so brutal from its 2nd week x_x
I've been really tired since Monday thanks to my procrastination on the weekends (Yes, I spent more than 3 hours skimming through The Quiz Show II, but of course, I didn't watch the whole 10 episode XDD). I ended Sunday by finishing my case study initial prep that's due on Monday till over midnight thanks to that procrastination, and from that Sunday till yesterday, I've been going to bed at around 12 or 1 AM when I have to wake up at 6 AM. Yes, I'm pretty used to a 6 hours daily sleep because I usually sleep during my commute (so that's another 1.5 to 2 hours extra sleep), but this week I can barely sleep during my commute, which makes me more tired than I usually am XDD
But well, as I mentioned in the title, today was a great day!
I submitted both my lab assignment and case study today~ well, I can't say that my case study's solution is great since our mathematical model didn't really work. But my partner and I tried our best and spent a lot (or maybe too much) time on the case study, so this is our best shot -- no regret :3
As for the code, as usual, it took me twice as long as my friend, BUT IT WORKED *victory pose* >v<)V
That wasn't all the happiness of today! Like yes, that was the very basic reason for me to be able to smile happily today, but there are more!
- So, there was a small accident on our bus today. We're all fine though, it's just a car kinda bumped into our bus and a part of it got stuck on our bus' front wheel, and because it happened in the highway, both the lady and our bus driver decided to wait for the police to come before moving the vehicle. Good thing no one was hurt! And the cute thing about this is our bus driver! She was always trying to ensure us that everything is alright, and when the bus that picked us up came, she was like "It's time, your chariot has come to pick you up!"~ She's adorable!
- On my other bus, there were 2 passengers that wanted to catch a bus. We saw the bus coming to the stop and these 2 ladies were kinda panicking if they might miss the bus. The bus driver then told them "You might not be able to catch it, that bus is scheduled to leave rightaway.", but even so, he kinda speeds up a bit to reach the terminal and let them off right behind the bus, telling them to hurry. The bus started moving when the 2 ladies were getting off our bus, but our bus driver softly pressed the honk, signaling the other bus that there were passengers transferring to that bus! He's a really kind driver!!
- One last thing was a fellow bus passenger~ as I was walking home, I was walking towards the same direction as this lady. She kinda jaywalked when she crossed the street, so she was walking around 10 meters in front of me, then she suddenly stopped. I was wondering why, so I walked faster and asked her if everything is alright, and she said it was only that her bag strapped got torn. We ended up walking side-by-side as we were heading towards the same direction for quite a distance, and she was really friendly! She bought a pizza for her family and was like "I think when I got home they'll be like 'we could just do delivery'" while laughing~
It has been a great day and I got to meet sooooo many kind people today :3
