Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse

Ok now! Time for my delayed impression on Spiderman: into the Spider-Verse!
Finally watched this on Tuesday after going to the cinema twice XD (the first time we went, the tickets got sold out as we were still in the queue, so we went back the following week SOBS)

Let's start with the visual: the multi-dimensional transition feels so good! So many colours, but somehow it feels strong! And I also really love the way they sometimes include text sfx on the scene!

Plot-wise, it's also really sweet! I really love how they portrayed Miles' struggles throughout the movie. It started off by him thinking how his dad wants him to be a son he could be proud of, which was why he felt down when he couldn't be the boy he thought his dad wants him to be and go to Aaron to temporarily escape reality. After how he failed to save blonde Parker, even broke the key entrusted to him, and when the other spider-people tested him, I can feel that deep inside, he kept telling himself on how useless he is that he couldn't meet anyone's expectation. And that translates to him unconsciously "holding back" on what he's doing, preventing him from releasing his power. "No matter what I do will be useless anyway" kind of thought.

The turning point of his behaviour is very well-explored too imo!
I love how they really tackled the root of the problem as the base of his character improvement. The moment his dad just stood at the door, telling him on how he pushed him because he felt that he has potential, that he will shine in whatever he does, and that he loves him the way he is. I believe that those words really lifted a huge weight on his shoulder, that he has to just do his best and that he will always have someone to return to. That itself is really precious imo. No matter how much pressure people give you, the most pressure will come from family as it's the smallest circle in your life, like I personally feel so. It really means a lot when someone verbally told you that they accept whatever you do, that they believe in you, and that they will love you the way you are.
That's basically my fave point throughout the movie >v<

Also, I love Robert Porker XDD And the black and white spiderman~ "this cube thing I don't understand" XDD

TL;DR, I really LOVE Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse! Great setting, plot, development, character, animation, and humour! A++ delivery on everything! It really was worth going to cinema twice for this, highly recommended!
