It's Time for Bubble Tea!
It's finally Friday! Woohoo!
And what's more: IT'S LONG WEEKEND! Monday is Thanksgiving, which means, HOLIDAY! YES!
It has been a hellish week but IT'S OVER! (Well, a more hellish week is coming in 2 weeks as almost ALL midterms are scheduled for that week x_x)
Here's what happened this week, under the cut!
This week has been a tough one: went home late every day, doing group project (and one of my groupmate kinda tires me out quite a lot. BUT this is probably because I have been in a swingy mood this week XD), job application, permit extension, blah blah, you name it XD
Yes, this is life, slept for 5-6 hours from Monday to Thursday (Yes, I agree with Riida!)
About group project though, our group consists of 4 introverts, or at least 4 individuals-who-are-introverts-when-they-meet-new-people. Yes, this group was randomly assigned by the Prof so we are not supposed to have known each other. But I, coincidentally, got to group up with someone I'm pretty close with (and she's an Arashi fan too!).
As a group consisting of 4 individuals who don't talk to each other much, we usually just discuss on what to write at the start of our meeting then work on our report individually side by side during our meeting on our google docs. However, during our group meetings (not only this weeks, as we have been in this group since mid Sept), I was kinda annoyed at the fact that one of my groupmates sometimes changes stuffs on our report without discussing with us. I MEAN, we discussed this before and she said nothing, then suddenly an unfamiliar content appeared on the report. Not to mention sometimes it's sometimes redundant. I don't mind her adding stuffs if it's related to our project, but I'd appreciate it had she discussed with the group, like, this is a group project...and we're all basically sitting together too...
I AM FULLY AWARE that this is really trivial. Yes, this is definitely just me being moody. So ya, I didn't let the annoyance out. That said, since she didn't come to our last meeting and that's when we finished our reports, I sent a message to the group saying:
"Ok so, the lab reports are done. You all can take a look and proofread everything. Feel free to message here if there's something you think need to be changed. I will print this at 12:15 PM tomorrow, so be sure to check everything before then~"
I DID send that with the intention to prevent her from arbitrarily changing the content. HOWEVER, not long after this message was sent to our group chat, this girl sent me a private message, saying:
"Sry Irene... I had something urgent to deal with this morning, I’ll check the report this afternoon and if there are any questions I’ll ask in the group"
THIS MESSAGE SHOCKED ME, like was my message feel that direct that she actually messaged me this privately? I don't know if she messaged everyone else the same message, but the fact that she actually sent me that message confused me. Like, she could say that in the group??? Why send it to me??? Did I say anything offensive??? Like, I'm not the group leader either, we have none??? Ya, this really confused me, I was afraid if I actually offended her, but the group chat after that went well, so I guess I was overthinking it XDD
Moving on from SKULE stuffs to fun stuff: I WENT TO BUY BUBBLE TEA TODAY! I bought a medium-size one! Not small, MEDIUM! Gotta treat myself once in a while~ I also bought some for everyone at home~ not done intentionally, but Monday is Thanksgiving too, so why not? And cousin has been craving for bubble tea too~
The bigger ones there are the large size I got for my Grandparents and they were like "THIS IS A LOT" XDD
And look at these straws! It caught my eyes the moment I saw it because...IT'S ARASHI COLOURED!!!
EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. OF. IT!
Hmm, I guess those are the highlight of this week XDD
