The weekend so far. . .

After work Friday, Melissa and I went shopping for a few things and then went to eat at Ippolitos. I had been craving a spinach and eggplant calzone and finally had one. From there we went home where I had a 90 minutes phone call with scarletserpent where she bitched me out for being so rude to peter418 in her LJ. At the time I was defensive but

I don't know you all that well, but I was sort of surprised by that thread because my interactions with you have always left me with a very positive impression and reading that gave me such a different impression that I could only imagine there was some old interaction between you and peter418 that was coloring something in a way that was unknown to me. (jeez, is that sentence enough of a run-on??!)

As for my fortitude....well, I always enjoy reading your posts -- even the mundane stuff. ;-)

I don't think so. Peter has never been anything but kind and polite to me. I think the interaction could be summed up as me being an asshole. Thus the apology. I don't say sorry often but when I do I mean it.

The first book on your list looks good, another which we use are the books by Paul Bradshaw.
Do you think you talks with peter are an emotional reaction to your studies in the far east, I didnt read the threats though.

The first book is a transcript of 4 lecures that were given in the mid 70's. I have only read the intro and not the book itself. When I do I'll let you know how it is.
