After my LJ post yesterday, I reconciled all my personal checking/savings accounts. I then paid bills for all my accounts accept
Luxor’s which I’ll do later this week. I also did some paperwork which included the expense report for the last Agape. The next issue was due to come out last week but since I was not here and noone sent any info to be included that will be coming out late. I’ll start emailing the necessary parties today to get this issue off the ground.
Catching up on the bills and the paper work took quite a while. By 7:30pm Melissa and I were hungry so we went to Fuji Hana for sushi. She had seafood tempura and I had a ton of veggie sushi, miso soup and a salad. I was hoping to see Yu Chi Chen, the woman I spoke with the last time I was there, but she was not working last night.
When we came home I continued laundry, and a few other little things. Melissa had to scan in and send her expense report so we did not start the movie 99.9 until 10:30pm. I was already tired however by 11pm I was practically falling asleep. The movie was not pulling me in and I had to get up for work at 6am so we went to bed.
This morning traffic was a lot more congested then I anticipated. Then I learned that today is the first day of school for many, many schools in Georgia. I was shocked, they start so early!
The Atlanta classic rock radio station, Z93, owned and operated by Infinity Broadcasting has changed format. It is now called
92.9 Dave FM. I really like the mix of music. I have heard everything from Led Zeppelin to Cheryl Crow to Radiohead to Rolling Stones to Dave Mathews. I am not sure what the official format is but so far I have not heard as song I disliked, only a few I have never heard before. They claim it is all the greatest rock in one place. It will be interesting to see how it progresses. It may be one of those stations that only play songs that have been proven successful (i.e. no new songs until they are 3-6 months old and proven). For the first time I have found a music station to compete with the
99x juggernaut.
The today at work will be slow. Actually August will be a slow month. Many people are in and out for vacation-both in our office and at our clients. I have a client deployment tonight at 7:30pm. It is the only real work I have today. I will be using the "free" time to catch up on email and other things.
