life status update

i moved to LA because i wanted to do something different. i wanted to do something different because i thought it would make me grow as a person. what bothers me the most about living in LA is that my day to day life is not spectacularly happy, what with peet's stressing me out and most of my lifelong friends being 400 miles away, and i'm feeling

::hug:: Preach it, sister! :) While I probably count as "working toward what I want to do," I've also got the "single" and "not where I want to end up" and "my friends are too damned far away" and suchlike things. 's those terrible tweens. ::hug:: I wish I had the magic wand to fix it, but no dice. (Because clearly, if you're doing magic, you're playing a tabletop RPG, which means you need dice. Or something. ::train of thought has left the station:: )

thanks for the moral support. and thank you again for your help the other day, it meant the world to have someone i could call for help. i gave a free mocha to the guy in the jumpsuit with the ambulance patch on it and told him i owed my doctor friend a free drink, but since you're far away i had to hope the karma would carry over somehow. he kinda laughed and looked confused, but i knew what i meant.

BUT... much love. You'll look back and you won't regret it, it's only in it you need to keep going. I ready a cheesy quote that may apply: if you're at your ropes end, keep trying to climb up because at least you can only go up now! (ok, that wasn't really the quote, but it's the only thing I thought of that's sort of related. And, I may have had a bottle of wine earlier.)
