Chapter Fifty Seven - Final Chapter

Mar 24, 2013 14:35

Just a very short chapter - it would be an epilogue if this was the end of the story.  And before you all start throwing things, I can confirm that I've already made a start on the final part of this series.  I just don't have a title yet.

I can't believe that this posted the day after I finished reading all that had already been posted! EEEEEEE!

[reactions to the ending of this story]But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! BAD Albus! I fear that all three of our Nameless boys will grow as sadly mad as Old Nik.

Maybe Caramon will hatch from that egg, and go around trying to find/rescue his masters? There's got to be some trace of magic left in them, right? And maybe Sophie can help them learn how to talk to Caramon?

Trying to get Caramon back into the Nameless Community, though, that's going to be tricky.

*is in denial about Sev, Harry, and Draco actually and permanently living as Muggles.

Hee! I'm glad I made you happy.

The follow-on story has a lot to live up to and I really can't say when I'll start posting it.

If you (or anyone else reading this) fancy the idea of being my beta (or hand-holder or just waver of encouragement-pom-poms) I'd be very glad of the assistance.

Self doubts are truly horrible so thank you again for your comments and your interest in the story as a whole.

Much love

Wren

I'd be glad to hold your hand/beta. The longest story I've ever written was only 30k or so, so I'm impressed at your managing to keep this epic in hand.

You can reach me as songquake at gmail dot com.

And really, this is just...I follow hardly any epic stories any more, and am thrilled to see you haven't dropped this. I was also squeeing that aspenlight expects to have AFLNO updated this week; I've been following both your universe and hers for such a long time that I've grown used to waiting and hoping. And it's a delight whenever you manage to get the next installment out.

Now off to squee at my flist.

Oh wow, I loved the battle scenes, and Lucius being the one to take out Voldemort. But this finally section is just great, and I can't wait to see how you follow this up.

I hope you're still with me,

I was so excited to see this! I don't know how any years I've been following this WIP (the series, not this fic) waiting for it to be finished so I can read it!

Then I find out it's not done. I'm just pouty now.

But! That's ok, because this means that there will be more to read when this ride is over. Whatever support you need, I am here to provide it!

Hey hun. I'm sorry I didn't reply to this at the time. Sorry too for (still!) not having an ending but I am trying to remedy this.
Thanks for commenting

Oh wow, what an ending! It's so damn great although I really want to cry about what Harry, Draco and Severus will await. I had goosebumps when Dumbledore said that Harry won't have his memories of his previous life and of the people around him. Oh my god! And then I remembered that Sirius said that he loved Harry and that Harry should try to remember that :( yes, yes, Harry is a special young man...so I think that, even when he continues as a muggle without memories, that there will be a little something that remembers him of that what he forgot (Severus, Draco, magic, Hogwarts, etc.). PLEASE tell me I'm right ;( and then they will all meet again and all memories will come back and everybody will live happily ever after. Perfect ^^ we will do it like this (hehe ( ... )

Hi,
Thank you very much for your comments and encouragement - I'm sorry for not replying sooner but, as I'll explain in a min, I was kind of hibernating in a dark, blue funk - unable to even look at the story for fear I'd delete the lot.
Anyway, a very special thank you because it was this comment, way back in February, that prodded me out of that hibernation and spurred the idea that finally coaxed me back to writing :o)
I hope you'll have patience to stay with me.
Wren
