Oh poor Redshirt, the security officer we knew so little, who died in order to prove just how fatal this mission to the plant's surface could be for our heroes despite the fact that they are the heroes and the audience subconsciously knows they are NOT allowed to die, at least not until the end of the season or perhaps the series finale
