Things have been busy lately! Mike worked on our staircase this over the weekend. When we first moved in to our new house, there were 2 stairs that felt a little weak, so we always knew they needed to be fixed. When we ripped up the ugly puke green carpet that was all along our upstairs hallway and stairwell we could see we had some great hardwood

Ahh.. so THIS explains why you've been avoiding my phone calls and not on TSO lately. I was beginning to wonder what ever happened to my little Jessica. I need to update my LJ but I'm soo sleepy, I think I'll just do it later. But I am skilling in another window right now.. I almost went to a money house that was giving 4k per jam, 30 max. But I wasn't in the mood to keep track of how many I did.. I was in the mood to just sit on my fat ass and read e-mail and LJ entries.

Jenna's talking about 4K on The Sims Online game. They have Houses in the game where you can go make your sim money, and every Jam you make the people who live at that house give you an extra 4k for each jam you make. So you can make as many as you want, and you just keep track of how many you do, and when your ready to cash out they pay you 4K x the amount you made. 4k is a pretty good deal in the game. ^_^

LOL Yah I finaly saw that you called. My phone was in my purse, and I'm pretty sure at the time my purse was downstairs in the kitchen. I spent most of my weekend upstairs due to mike fixing out stairs so i couldnt really go up and down to get stuff. So yah I think it was on Monday I noticed you called me twice and I was like :O Ooopsie LOLOL!!

Looks good. A big difference would be scraping off that old paint off the stairs and repainting or sanding/varnishing depending on what's under the layers.. It'll be quite a bit of work so you may have to help Mike on this one. Unless you want him out of your way for the weekend. ;P tootles -b

Where the ugly cream paint is, those are just the risers of the steps, so that can easily be painted over. It's more work than needed to sand those down when they can be painted over, and it will look brand spankign new again anyway. They're getting painted white ass soon as the floors are finished. As much as I like DIY home improvement shows, Mike's been the one tackling this project alone LOL!! I helped him sink the nails in the stairs, but I did more harm than good cause I was poking more holes in the stairs when I'd miss sinking the nail with the nail set and hammer LOL It's best just to let him do it, that way we know it will get done correctly. Besides its almost all finished now and he's doing a great job. I'm crafty, but not very handy so I'm only good with small or easy projects LOL
