Friday was crazy/fun/crazy? - Andaken's Submit to Print show was really spectacular, I managed to interact socially at the bloody thing for longer than 5 minutes (which is a howling sucess compared to my other visits at Andaken). Kare-bear's grahpic novel was released and is SO GOOD, and you should all buy it! I ended up buying my first piece of art from a gallery(?weird) It's really really really pretty and makes me happy. All kinds of androgynous making out and gay stuff. Pefect for my wall. Ran into Josh motherfucking Wilcox at Bri's b-day party after the gallery success. Um, I am the champion at rubbing dudes noses in their own shit. And it feels so damn good everytime.
Saturday - Carolyn and I spent the afternoon exploring the tiny corner of the world called downtown littleton (+ Sister's Expresso = THE most closet case-ed coffee shop evah)and I showed her my favorite bookstore aka: the only reason I survived highschool. Best Downtown Littleton date in history. Then we were singing Janis Joplin real real loud in her car...It Was So Loverly *sigh*
Sunday was a crock of shit and a lot of fun too - Hmm...I cooked for Katie and worried about her like I do, while we Bitched to each other in a massive bitch fest like we do when we only see each other once out of about 3 months. Jeez. After the L Word I got some secret and safe much needed Shannon time and we were loud obnoxious queer gender benders at a place that no one will ever find cause its a secret. I freaking love that girl! Together we shall make the smartest buttons ever, just wait for it. And also we have the best boundaries and are the toughest smartest girls that ever existed. Srslah.
AND THEN LATE LATE LATE at night IN THE DARK OF THE NIGHT I locked my stupid apartment-sitting ass out of Squee's apartment with her puppy dog. Yeah. I sure did. Totally was saved by her neighbor letting me in to use phone/computer and call a locksmith who told me all about how he is Sicilian and has had a background check for this job (?dont most jobs?)and the only people he ever knew from Alaska were dudes. Which was funny - but then sad cause I had to cut him a big check because apt management always is not around when you need them and I needed things inside for work today. Then I watched Xena til I fell asleep (roughly 2:30 am) to soothe my anxious nerves. Now I am at work.
