Do you have an MLIS (just for my curiosity)?

If you don't get it (which I hope doesn't happen), ask if you can volunteer there.

No, I only have a Bachelor's degree in Communication. However, this is a clerk position which doesn't require any sort of degree. I was planning to volunteer if I didn't get the job, and I was also active in their Friends of the Library group before I had my son, so I'll rejoin that.

Thank you! I wish I could visit your store with Will. Sometimes it's really striking how large America is. If you had your shop in England and we lived in London, it would be easy to pop over on the train for a weekend.

Forgive me. My gawd..I dont remeber but I was at Azkatraz. Do you have emails of the volunteer coordinator of the con buried in your account. If so that's your most credible reference.

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't know if the coordinator even met me, although she might have at the training session. I don't know if we talked at Azkatraz but I met you at Snapefest in Dallas. That was so much fun! I'm afraid I was on the panel trying to defend JKR's treatment of Snape in the last book --a difficult position.
