(incidentally, 5 years with same person and shes not the one i miss)

a friend, an angel. no, i dont miss being yelled at for the better part of those 5 years together. Who would? I miss my friend.

i don't think the amount of time spent with somebody directly affects how you should feel about them
it's more about the impact they've made on your life/heart

Well, thats twisted logic. Until youve lived with your "lover" for 5 years and then BAM! its over, i dont think you will understand. Im 24 in 3 weeks. Valentines day. Yeah, happy happy.

i was sorta looking forward to this valentines day until my love told me he's going out of town friday. now i think i'll do nothing but sleep alone on friday.

you have no idea whats going on. I dont sleep as it is cause of the physical pain. now i have to endure the loss of my a person i sleep in the bed with every night? at the height of my physical pain?

I can totally totally relate. I lived with someone almost that long (not far behind) and loved them more than I can tell you....it hurts physically, emotionally, everything and I can't tell you how to heal, but I hope you do. I am in another relationship now (obviously....going on 3 years with a baby so it adds to it) and it's so rocky...but as the saying goes (I personally believe it) better to love and be left then to never love at all...or something to that affect. Big big hug!
