Weird day today, Q slept in and so did Amy, but he got up in time to make it to school, so I dropped Junie off, then came home, then dropped Q off, and finally went to work. I didn't actually get there all that late, like 09:15 or something (my usual / target is more like 08:30), but it just felt like I'd done a lot more running around than usual.

Obviously, we'll notice that he's had a haircut when we see him this weekend. Do you think that it's okay if we say how much we like his new look, or something to that effect, or would it be preferable not to comment?

We're trying to be positive about both his new look and his old look -- we want to make sure he knows that either way is fine, and it's up to him, and we'll be happy either way. So, saying something nice is fine; "you look so much better now" wouldn't be as good. :^)
