Well...hopefully you did better than you think.

We have some other friends who just interviewed as well, we're planning a trip to Japan next year to visit them. Hopefully we'll see you, there, too!

Have you thought about ECC? My friend, koshii (vori), first looked at Jet, but then went with the ECC. In her interview, it seemed they didn't care much that she was proficient in japanese since they don't want their teachers slipping back into japanese conversation with the students of some english-immersion courses.

also, it's teaching all ages (little kids to retirees), which means you get some variety in your teaching schedule.

if you're interested, i highly recommend you get in touch with her about the ECC program. i know she'd be happy to talk about it in detail with you.

Is it actually bad that you are not fluent in Japanese? I don't think Trish spoke much Japanese at all. Do they tell you guys what they're looking for? I thought a lot of the interview was a personality thing: outgoing, American, energetic, etc. And if that's the case, do I really need to say that you're a cinch? ;)

Good luck!
