Have you read the His Dark Materials series? There is a storyline in the third, and last, book in the series that you would probably like!

Not penguins.

In Amber Spyglass, I'm talking about those elephant-like creatures, I think it was Dr. Mary Malone who interacted with them. To me, it seems like iriri would like that certain storyline, but I'm not sure how much she would like the rest of the story. (Donno her taste yet!)

But, yeah. =)

I read somewhere that penguins mate for life (I am pretty sure it was penguins). Now if only humans could learn from that example! =)
