I went to an art museum with a friend yesterday and played pool. It was a very fun day. I found a magazine with great art in it today so I bought it. I am going to my homework and hopefully still have the energy to do some drawing. I feel high off the art (NOT that I know what it actually feels like to be high, but you get the picture). Today is good weather and a busy day. I have been getting enough sleep for a few days now and eating well. I feel very healthy. Did homework all yesterday and feel sort of caught up. I also talked to Dad on the phone, which is always great. It will be a good day.

I went back to ballet last night for the first time in a month. My back still hurts, but not as bad as it did. It was really really good to dance. My date for departure has been set for August 31. I cannot believe that I have less than three months here. I do not know how I will be able to leave.

When I make art, the world stops. I hope I never forget that.

Well, not much is going on here. We have the week off and so I am acting just like my father and spending my break doing things that I do not have time to do during school. I think my toaster just died... My back is starting to feel a little bit better each day. I am stretching and can move around pretty normally. Sitting is still awful, but at at least I can stand up. Physical therapy includes stretches and crunches and then strange electrical currents in my back. The electrical currents make the pain go away ( Read more... )

I have been so busy with school lately. Almost overwhelmed. Actually yes, overwhelmed. For the most part I can handle my schedule, but the pain in my gluteal muscle and lower back has made everything a little too much.
