Things that pleased me:
- Everyone is reacting to Starbuck's return in totally logical, totally human ways. Roslin is NOT having it, Anders is happy-yet-distracted, Adama WANTS TO BELIEVE, and Lee wants to take her back to his quarters for hot chocolate and teddy bears.
- Tyrol is adapting well and it feels correct, intuitively. Why? I don't know. It just does.
- EEKK!! Anders uses his scary Red Eye of Death and tells the cylons to "get frakked." SAM!
- New Personal Character Category: "I love you on television but I would not be friends with you IRL." cf. Kara Thrace
- Lee is BREAKING ADAMA'S HEART by resigning from the service. "Adama as Dad" throws such an interesting monkey wrench into the plot. I think I know how Lee feels right now.
Things that irked me:
- ...Baltar's fawning harem? Maybe? His "prayers" for the kid almost looked legitmate--ALMOST. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but this could get Stupid very quickly.
Things To Come:
- Next Ep Prediction: Starbuck will throw down the gun and beg for Roslin's understanding, possibly ending with, "And BTW! I went AWOL for your Frakking Arrow of Apollo."
- Final Cylon Prediction: Billy! Please? Please?
- Next Weeklies: "WE'REGOINGTHEWRONGWAY!" Poor Kara--I know how she feels. I've had moments like that on family car trips.
