His tongue *would* be sticking out then! And when he was frosting the cookies. That's SERIOUS WORK, getting the decorations just right! It takes coordination and concentration!
It does! And Brendon wants to be sure that he gets it right; it's seriously special that the Smiths are letting him be part of their Christmas celebrations. He's not family, and he's not Ryan, who grew up with Spencer and has known them for years. He wants to do something nice for them in return.
So, I totally cut it out b/c it didn't work in the drabble without a lot more exposition, but Brendon's totally packing the cookies into Tupperware that belongs to Mrs. Smith. Spencer brought it over filled with left-over lasagna after practice a few nights before. He said it was left-over, anyway. Given the quantity - it was one of the 9x13 rectantangular containers, pumpkin-orange like the one his own mom had - Brendon doubts that it was really left-over, unless Mrs. Smith's taken to making two pans at a time. But he couldn't argue, because he was hungry (he's ALWAYS hungry, it feels like) and it was good and it was Spencer and Spencer's mom.

Also, I can totally picture him concentrating on cutting out the trees and stars, with his tongue sticking out and everything, lol.
