Brendon was struggling to deal with the fact that Jon was a cheating asshole.

So, this is one of the reasons I haven't written much of this 'verse in a while: in my head, when they went up to the cabin and things weren't going well, they ALL fought - they were not working as a GSFy unit anymore for a variety of reason - and when they left, Jon went to Chicago and she stayed in LA and Vegas, and spent a lot of time with The Cabbabies. Nothing was going on, but Jon was jealous and drunk and hooked up with some nameless girl in the scene in Chicago. And of course the scene and the label being what it is, Bren knew almost the moment it happened. If Jon had called and explained, said he was sorry, actually TALKED to her, she might've dealt with it, but when he finally called, he acted like it was HER fault, like she'd been screwing someone else (like she'd fuck Cash, of all people!), and that was just unacceptable.
