My clover lawn is making serious progress. I could see my ground cover in the dark this morning as I went out to turn on the sprinkler!

I can't wait to see how this affects my job...

Star Trek marathons on Sci-fi rock my world!

I started to get a sore throat around 6:30 tonight and it has been getting progressively worse....I so don't want to be sick over my 3 day weekend.

When I said on 8/4 that this month would suck at the day job...I was right. And of course my #'s aren't nearly impressive enough to justify how frustrating the month was. I do have 16 loans on the books for September already though so I'm hoping that September #'s will be quite a bit higher without being as stressful....I can dream--right ( Read more... )

My day got better--yummy dinner and hot tub with lots of friends, and when I got home I had a voice mail from one of my best friends from elementary school. She didn't make it to the reunion, but her address was in the memory book so I sent her a note. I can't wait to see her!

I went to the adoption exchange last night for my monthly volunteer night. I'm an awesome envelope stuffer! But really I do enjoy it, and want to get as involved as possible. There isn't a lot of time to get to know people in the monthly meetings, but I think that will come.

The realization that we are adding little people to the house is forcing us to tackle the bad behaviors of the critters. With this in mind we decided to essentially tether the dogs to us or kennel them at all times. So I decided to start tonight. Emma and Yoshi went first. Emma chills right away and crashes.
