Hey, merry Christmas to you, too! Of course you're welcome, though I still wish I could have done a bit more, especially since I've talked with some of the victims and they are understandably broken, but it is really hard to see.
As for myself, I'm fine. Just experience a bit of culture shock, I guess. Christmas was never too much of a big thing at home, but it was definitely different than...well, the celebrations here, haha. I guess you don't really notice a tradition until it is gone. But what about you? I'm sure you're keeping yourself busy whether you mean to or not. Just be sure to take a break! It's the holidays, right?
I know what you mean. They've been doing better though, they're a strong bunch. Mel especially, she's a firecracker as they say. It's far from over though - I'll let you know if there's any help needed, if you're up to it of course.
Your island school not big on the holiday? Sometimes it's easy to forget the culture differences around here until something like this comes up. Ha, I've been a bit busy with the aftermath. Feels like home - all the madness seems to happen around these times. I'll try to sit back with some eggnog at some point. Any plans yourself?
Yeah, she did seem like she was doing okay...though her voice was a bit strained and low, like she was whispering. But yeah, go ahead and give me a heads up if there is anything that I can help with!
Oh, hell, North School? Well, everyone there looked like Fjøsnisse but...well, before that, too, no one was really home to get into the mood. But yeah, I'm really feeling the burn now, so to say. And this is the time when all of the crazies come out, right? Heh, it's just that stressful time of the year. As for me, I'm spending the evening with my precious ones. Not sure about tomorrow, haha. I guess it all depends on how everyone feels. But you know...eggnog. Too bad it is a seasonal drink, haha.
