I think Zuko knows she's starting to come unhinged a bit, but since he doesn't really realize how bad it is in canon until he comes face to face with her and she challenges him to the Agni Kai, I don't think she'd be quite as bad off during home plot.
I mean, obviously, I want him to win the Agni Kai, but that could be a combination of her being just a little off and him having become so much better at bending + keeping up training on the island.
Hmmm, I think he'd expect her to throw the lightning at him, since she's already got Cassie kidnapped. And he wouldn't expect to have to taunt her for her to do it, either.
I don't have any idea what they could do but I think a Seifer-Arya-Edmund battle thread while Zuko and Cassie or off fighting Azula could be real fun. Given Arya's stone cold ruthlessness and Seifer's complete lack of restraint, they could easily do things that would utterly appall Edmund.
As for Iroh, since Zuko doesn't know about the Order what would he imagine Iroh would be doing? Go into hiding completely, or still be gathering some kind of force to fight Ozai? Either way, it's easy to see them bumping into him on the way to the palace and then him going off somewhere for the rest of the plot.
rofl, I like how your focus is to upset my boy. No, really, I like it. :D Not that Edmund won't be holding his own very well, but there is a line for him, even in battle.
Sounds pretty swell to me! Trying to make it behind the lines to take down higher-ups, or some such? Or providing an additional distraction for Zuko to sneak in, something like that.
At any case, something with cold blooded murder in it. >_>
As much as I loved that in canon, I don't want home plot to just be a rehashing of those events...so I'm not opposed to her going with him, as long as we can think of a way to twist things and make it different, if that makes sense?
Cassie hates this plot LOL She's a super hero, not a damsel in distress so she's going to be pissed after wards. But it's what she gets for trying to take on Azula without her powers.
Aang is going to be around for the beginning obviously and then go off on his own during the big battle to face Ozai. Since this is Zuko's perception, he's going to be killing the Fire Lord but not being proud of it all.
