I really don't want to go to work today. It's just too bloody hot there. There is one one small corner of the library where the AC actually works, so the kids section stays relatively cool compared to everywhere else, but I had to be upstairs in HELL yesterday, shelving where there is not even a fan blowing, let alone AC. hey! sorry to bother you, but I came across your lj while searching for others who have studied abroad in Ireland, specifically through Arcadia. If you have a moment, I would love to hear about your experience...I'm planning on going to University College in Dublin or Queen's in Belfast this winter and would love to hear the "real" details about the Arcadia program and studying abroad itself, not simply the marketing info from the website ;)

hi again! I've been meaning to reply to this for awhile, but unfortunately school and work got in the way. . . anyway, if you're still up for questions, I do have a few, mainly about the Arcadia process itself:
When did you apply? how long did it take to hear back? How did they handle aid/loans? was doing it through Arcadia worth it?

Also, I would love to hear about studying in Ireland, in general! Did you apply to other schools? how did you decide where to go? and of course, any other details of your stay there.
