Hello, there. Sorry to intrude, I found your lj while looking through interests while I was bored, and I was wondering, do you know of any good places to start when wanting to learn Gaeilge? I have been interested in it for so very long, but I haven't been able to find any good help. I am planning on going to Ireland in the summer of 2006, and hopefully for longer than a few weeks, it has always been the number one place to visit for me! I would appreciate any suggestions you might have, of course don't worry if you don't have the time. Thank you so much! (Btw- LUV your name, one of my favorite Irish ones!) =)

Well some college do teach gaelic but not that many, u can check online for places around you that do, like at local AOH's. But u can start buy going to book stores and buying books that teach gaelic. In ireland you visit Glaway and go to connemara, thats a gaeltacht where they only speak irish, and thats where my dad was born, lovely place really.

Yes, I've done a lot of research on places in Ireland, I definately want to visit everywhere, and Galway is on the list! =) Thanks for your help.
