First of all, I'd give you a QOTD from this post, but I'm not sure where it should start-and-finish, so you'll just have to take a kudo instead.

Secondly, as far as living in another time goes, I would definitely be up for it if this "God" of whom you speak could insure me that I would have both a decent standing in society and patch-up my infirmities. I probably wouldn't choose the Victorian period, however...

Assuming that this deal with "God" was a go... oldboneclaws June 3 2005, 18:10:36 UTC
I'm not sure what order I would put them in, but my top three choices (off the top of my head) would probably include:

1. Ancient/Medieval Ireland or Scotland
Mainly so I could party with some crazy Druids, but also because the time-and-place is hella-cool and I could probably wrangle myself into minor warlord status...

2. The Height of Hippie-dom
Because hippies do appeal to me, and I would love to go to Woodstock and trip-out with good, fun-and-peace-loving folks and just enjoy all the good music from that era

3. Roman Times?
When the Greek philosophers were in full-swing, the coliseum was grand entertainment and there were orgies every night
