A Question

So I was wondering, is picnic this year open to past cast members as well as the new like it has been? The main reason for asking is I need to bring my camera out and snap some pics for my fiancee. We've decided to get married out at faire and he's wanting to see what it all looks like before he's there for the wedding ( Read more... )

If you end up not going, I have some photos of a wedding I attended at Scarborough if you'd like to show them to him.

Congrats!

Last I heard picnic was open to cast and their family only. I donot have the official word for anything, but in the time I've been on cast, picnic has never been open to former cast unless they were there as the SO or family of current cast. Probably you will want to ask Dircetor Lady or Boss man to be sure though. They are the official word.

Glad getting married on site makes you so happy. It is a beautiful place for a wedding!!

Thanks hun. I'll check with Janna. :) I came out a couple of years ago and I wasn't cast, but a lot has changed since then. I certainly don't want to step on toes, but I'm hoping I'll have the chance to get some pics for Craig. It sucks planning the whole thing on my own, since he can't even enter the country until right before we get married. (sigh)

I am very happy about getting married out there. I just know that it is just what I want...a place where I can be with all of my friends on my wedding day. :)

Take care, dear.

oh, lucky you!! I wanted to get married out at faire, but Jon said it would be too much like getting married at work!! lol :) I'm so happy for you guys- I'm glad that you found someone that makes you happy. you could always tell Craig to check out Paul's website- it will give him some clues as to period dress, and I think he actually has a wedding on his page, too.

On a side note, can I do some of your photography before/during/after the wedding? I'd love to get some practice (read- I have 2 memory cards allowing for around 1000 photos, so you should like/love some of them)!!! :P
We will be back in TX by October sometime, if you want any help making lists, arranging things, etc.

I'll certainly keep all that in mind, and I would love your help!

I am happy to have my wedding there because the most important thing to me was having my friends with me on my wedding day. Well, since I know that most of them will be returning cast (including myself, hopefully), I know that they'll most likely be out there May Day weekend. I know that by having my wedding at faire than I would be able to share my day with those I love most. :)

Miss you!
