OMG!!! I have to say at the end of the last chapter I couldn't help but think Damon was in on Bonnie being kidnapped by Klaus, that he'd made some kind of deal to protect Elena so when I started reading this chapter...you caught me totally off guard in the most awesome of ways :)

Klaus is as fanastically well written as always, as evil as he is (and you've done a marvelous job of showcasing it!) you can't help but feel for him and I love that line:

"For a moment there is silence and Bonnie thinks for the first time that he truly understands what he has just done."

I can't wait to find out more about that cryptic conversation between Klaus and Rebekah, it gives me the impression that Bonnie has come up in conversation more than once between them.

Also - hope you don't mind if I friend you, never too sure of friending etiquette! :)

I would probably have wanted to murder Damon if he did that and as a Bamon fan of old (not sure where I stand on them right now) I couldn't do it! It is a good idea though - that would totally sever her connection them I think
