oh crap!

oh no! oh no! oh no!!!

I may have missed my math final.

I saw on the top of the final study guide that it was yesterday at 2... but on the sheet I had with all the finals hours on it from work, it said it was at 2 today.

I don't know when it is and I'm in a panic.

*panicked snorts and flapping of hands*

at any rate, I'm worried that I'm gonna fail. ( Read more... )

NO KILLING YOURSELF.

If you have indeed missed it, CALL AND EMAIL your professor and explain the mix-up. Most professors are understanding about situations like that...especially with everything you've been going through lately.

Also, you are smart. You will do FINE on your math final. I believe in you kiddo!

seconding everything! Professors understand things like this, and you're an extremely hard worker so there's absolutely no reason for the prof not to give you a make up. It'll be okay!

Thirded!

Also, if your professor does turn out to be a hardass about it (I know at least one who might be about such a thing here at my school), take it to the chair of the math department. It's not your fault.

However, I'm inclined to believe that the one on the list of all the finals is the one that is right. Professors mess up final dates a *lot,* especially with multiple classes, and very especially with multiple classes of the same type.

Yea last semester I had a paper to write and on the paper's instructions it said it was due the LAST week, but in the course chart it was due the second to the last week, a mix up I did not notice until the second to the last week. So I emailed the professor, pointed out the error, and he gave me an additional week extension! But I only used one day of it just to be a good student lol.

Anyways unless you're reading one of them wrong, you're probably not the only student that noticed this error and missed the exam, assuming it was indeed yesterday.

I hope you're right about this...

Professors HAVE TO give the exam on the time that the university deems it to be. So, if the University says one time, and the prof. says another time, and the time that the prof. says doesn't work out for you, they HAVE TO let you take it during the scheduled time.

At least that's the way it is here at EMU. I'm sure it's probably a universal US university thing though.

Good luck!

For one of the finals my senior year about five minutes after the final was about to start, the professor walked into the room and said that everone who showed up passes, and we could go home. ^_^
