i think that u should go with the second option.. like i know that u like kat, but i mean, liek u said, she doesnt want to get into a romatic relationship right now, and she's only going to be there for a year.. i mean, that relationship would probably end up being identical to the relationship u probably have with her now. Okay, you could always try to make things work, but it's only a year. you don't want to try for something that's not likely and miss a year of something that could have been what u were yearning for the entire time.
i think u should go with jen and see how things work from there. You just have to remember that kats leaving soon, so getting yourself deeper into emotions might leave you beyond heartbroken by the end of the year.

Go for something that you feel is TRUE and is going to stick and you're going to feel complete with her.
