I understand the waiting thing. We're doing the same thing.
I was able to go under Jon's insurance as a domestic partner. We just had to fill out some paperwork saying we live together and share expenses. The pharmacist at Walgreens told me it was illegal to make couples get married for insurance.
And in answer to your last comment which I haven't had time to respond to - Alex is awesome :) I'm subbing, which is an adventure. Everything is looking up. Hope you can say the same soon :)
See! I figured we could go teh domestic route too but the insurance company won't do it unless we're a gay couple or we've been together for 7 years i guess. I dunno :( I don't want to wait much longer though... Not because of the insurance thing but because I love him so much and quite frankly I hate referring to him as my boyfriend. I wouldn't mind a long engagement if thats what he wants, but he hasn't even asked me so I dunno. Either way I love him and I'm happy with him so I guess it doesn't matter.
I wish I could Sub here. Back in Alaska you just have to pass a background test and apply, here i heard you have to have a certificate or something. I gotta find a job that pays 14$ an hour and quick. but no idea where or how.
Alex is getting big, those chubby cheeks ;) I miss that stage..
