Yes, Sammy is very...determined, isn't he? He'll do whatever it takes to keep Dean safe and at this point the only way he believes that would happen is if Lilith was dead. Not entirely sure if he's thinking clearly there, lol.

That's my biggest problem with Castiel (on the show), aside from him threatening harm to our Sammy. Sam is stopping demons, hunting down Lilith and trying to stop Lucifer from rising. They should be working WITH him, not threatening him with eternal damnation.
