OH... WOW! That was very well written. Well done!
The notion that they were both played and that, despite heaven and hell having different purposes, the result for mankind are always the same... And the call back to the dialogue in the Pilot was just perfect. Dead on!

*blushes* Thank you so much. I am so happy you liked it. That's how I see what happened all this season. The boys both got played and manipulated by both sides. Hopefully they realize that now and the fact that they really can only trust each other. They kind of forgot that for a while there.

What a great ending. And it's SO TRUE. I don't know what the future holds, though, like you, I think Sam is going to crash (I HOPE he does). But in the end, if they're together, that's what matters.

I have a feeling Sam is definitely going to crash. All the guilt about what he did and nothing else to hold on to, how can he not? Hopefully Dean will be able to help him out of that hole though.

Oh, I really loved this! Beautiful, perfect mix of appropriate Sammy guilt and an added dose of hope. I loved how you tied in the Pilot with 4x22.
