Getting ready to go to work for what may be the last time. There is a shop meeting today and the word is layoffs. No one knows for sure, it could be a layoff or it could be one of those" hey guys keep up the good work" speeches from the big bosses. The more seasoned of the guys there know better and I have come to trust their instincts a little bit

true. i feel bad for the 44 other guys besides me that got the ax today. they wiped out my department except for one guy on first shift and one guy on second.emotional day all around even at the bar where we all met up for drinks. they let a lot of damn good people go today, ones that where making that company money.
